  *The word "God" can be
  interpreted in a number of ways,
  depending on one's spiritual beliefs.
  When reciting the Girl Scout
  promise, it is okay to replace the
  word "God" with whatever word your
  spiritual beliefs dictate.

Use Cookie Dough Credits Soon
Has your Girl Scout used her Cookie Dough cookie credits yet? This year they expire on September 30.

The credits can be used to purchase Girl Scout items in the ScOutfitters Shop, for example, or to pay for all or part of a program fee, a Summer Camp 2008 session or a trading post purchase during summer camp. Remember, when Cookie Dough credits are used for camp fees for day, mini, or resident camp, their value triples!

Cookie Dough cookie credits earned by girls during the Girl Scout Cookie Program expire.

Adult Girl Scouts and girls who have completed Program Aide or L.I.T. training are invited to a cafeteria-style Leader Training on Saturday, October 18, from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Register by October 3; click here for information about this one-day event.
